PLC actual machine assembly demonstration

PLC Actual Machine Assembly Demonstration
This video demonstrates an actual PLC machine’s assembly using two Mitsubishi Electric 6-axis articulated robots, the “MELFA FR series.”
The coordinated actions of the two robots allow the assembly to be performed like human work.

By using Techmake’s multifaceted robot hand, multiple functions are given to each robot, and the entire process from assembly to arranging the workpieces in a returnable box is reproduced in a fully automated manner.
The internal board is mounted with FPC/FFC connectors 11501 series and 11600 series, realizing the robot’s automation insert of FPC cards.
In addition, the 10109 series is used for the mainboard connection, and its floating function offsets mounting misalignment and completes the assembly of the set.

Products

11501S Series

0.5mm pitch NON-ZIF RA/ST type FFC connector compatible with shielded FFC that enables high-speed transmission of digital signals. It is shielded for EMC measures. Optimized contact structure supports a transmission range of over 20Gbps depending on FFC selection.
Impedance matching: Differential 100Ω (typical reference value based on in-house definition)
Auto I-Lock structure is hard to pull out but easy to remove, which is lockable as soon as the FFC card is inserted.

11600S Series

0.5mm pitch NON-ZIF RA/ST type FFC connector compatible with shielded FFC that enables high-speed transmission of digital signals. It is shielded for EMC measures. Optimized contact structure supports a transmission range of over 20Gbps depending on FFC selection.
Impedance matching: Differential 100Ω (typical reference value based on in-house definition)
Auto I-Lock structure is hard to pull out but easy to remove, which is lockable as soon as the FFC card is inserted.

10109 Series

0.635mm pitch, floating type parallel connection (ST/ST) Board to Board Connector enables high-speed transmission of digital signals. A movable (floating) structure that can move 0.5 mm in the X Y direction. 0.5mm effective mating length in the Z direction. 3.0 Supports high-speed transmission of 3.0 Gbps (typical reference value based on in-house definition)—impedance matching: Differential 100 Ω. A 2-point contact connector is adopted for various mating heights and reliable removal of foreign matter even in challenging environments.
