On June 17, 2022, IRISO (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, CEO: Hitoshi Suzuki) installed large-scale equipment at Ibaraki Plant. The installation of this equipment will enable the company to handle molded products for large connectors, accelerating the development and production of large custom I/Os and other products, while also promoting manufacturing, including design and research and development.
IRISO has installed a 250t large molding machine in Ibaraki Plant. This will enable in-house production of resin molding for large connectors, including large custom I/Os for vehicle powertrains, which are becoming increasingly electrified.
Timely collaboration between product design and production technology and immediate feedback on reliability evaluation are possible. Utilizing the production technology cultivated in-house, we are expanding the variation of products that can be handled at any time. This enables us to deliver the most suitable products that meet the needs of our customers. In addition, it is possible to develop products such as custom I/O with a short lead time, and since we can respond to requests on the spot, meetings with customers regarding specifications will be smoother.
In addition to reducing manufacturing costs by in-house production, we have built an optimal quality control system through consistent production. In addition, production lead time can be shortened, and we have achieved extremely high QCD through in-house production.
We manufacture products such as custom inserts and outsert molds for in-vehicle large I/O.
