Announcement of "11507/11607 Series" FPC connectors suitable for harsh automotive environments

On September 17, 2024, IRISO, Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, CEO: Hitoshi Suzuki) announced the release of the 11507/11607 series, a 0.5mm pitch FPC connector with environmental resistance equivalent to LV214 Level 4.

This FPC connector is designed for use in powertrain equipment that requires vibration resistance and high heat resistance up to 125°C. Replacing the conventional internal signal connection from a wire harness to an FPC connection contributes to the miniaturization and weight reduction of equipment. In addition, it features IRISO 's unique auto-locking structure (Auto I-Lock structure), which eliminates the need to open and close the cover when Mating the FPC, significantly improving workability.

Main Features

Feature 1: Environmental resistance equivalent to LV214 Level 4
It has vibration resistance and high temperature resistance (125°C) equivalent to LV214 Level 4, and was developed for internal connections in automotive powertrain devices that operate under harsh environmental conditions.

Feature 2: Excellent reliability
The two-point contact improves contact reliability, and Auto I-Lock structure automatically locks when the FPC is inserted, preventing angled insertion and incomplete Mating.

Feature 3: Customization according to required specifications
The lineup includes terminal removal to ensure creepage distance (rated for over 50V), and with or without a ground (GND) terminal to match the FPC you are using.
