IRISO Receives a "B" Score in CDP’s Climate Change Report
IRISO (Head office: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Hitoshi Suzuki; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has been awarded a "B" score for the second consecutive year in the "Climate Change" category of CDP2025, an international non-profit organization that provides an environmental information disclosure system, for excellence in climate change countermeasures and information disclosure. The Company was also awarded a "C" score for "Water Security."
CDP
CDP is a global non-profit that runs the world's only independent environmental information disclosure system. By 2025, over 700 institutional investors holding over US$147 trillion in assets and over 270 purchasing companies and institutions with total procurement values exceeding US$6.4 trillion had requested CDP to collect data on their environmental impacts, risks, and opportunities, while over 22,700 companies disclosed information through the CDP platform. CDP compiles and analyzes the collected environmental disclosures and rates companies' efforts on an eight-point scale (A, A-, B, B-, C, C-, D, D-).
The B score places the Company in the third highest band corresponding to Management Level, which highlights the Company’s roles responsible at management level for climate-related risks and opportunities.
