On April 27, 2026, IRISO (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President&CEO: Hitoshi Suzuki) announced the "11014 series" of FPC-to-board connectors, which are compact, low profile, and highly robust.
In recent years, various electronic devices, including automotive and industrial equipment, have become more sophisticated and high-performance, while at the same time, there has been an increasing demand for high-density mounting in limited spaces and for miniaturization and weight reduction of the entire device. In the internal and inter-device connections of ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems), including automotive cameras, achieving both space savings and high connection reliability has become a crucial challenge.
To meet these needs, this concept combines high-density mounting with a 0.4mm pitch, two-row pin arrangement, low profile structure with Mating height of 1.5mm, and a strong locking connection that prevents disconnection during post Mating work, achieving high mounting efficiency and excellent workability even in limited mounting spaces. This not only contributes to miniaturization and weight reduction of equipment, but also enables its application in various uses where stable connections in harsh environments are required.
Lightweight design is a crucial factor that leads to improved energy efficiency, cost reduction, and even enhanced user comfort. This concept is not only ideal for internal and inter-device connections in automotive ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) where weight reduction is particularly important, but also demonstrates superior performance in fields requiring small size, light weight, and high-density mounting, such as portable medical devices and smartwatches.
We are currently preparing for mass production of the "11014 series" in stages.

Feature 1: Compact size and high-density mounting with a 2-row pin arrangement.
By adopting a 0.4mm pitch, two-row pin arrangement, we have achieved a compact design that enables high-density mounting in limited spaces.
Feature 2: low profile structure with Mating height of 1.5 mm
It employs a low profile structure with a Mating height of 1.5 mm. This allows for mounting in limited spaces, significantly contributing to the overall miniaturization of the device. Furthermore, because it supports SMT (surface mount technology), high-density and efficient space-saving designs are possible.
Feature 3: Strong locking connection that is less likely to come loose during work after Mating.
The design incorporates improved resistance to unlocking, enhancing Mating retention force. This makes it less likely for Mating to come loose during operation, resulting in a design with excellent workability.
Feature 4: High-temperature durability, rated for temperatures up to 125°C.
By employing high-performance materials and connector structures, it achieves an operating temperature range of -40 to 125°C. It offers reliable contact even in high-temperature environments, without restrictions on the mounting location or environment of the system and connector.
This product is particularly well-suited for use in in-vehicle ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) applications within the mobility market.
