Announcement of "11010 Series" Board to Board Connectors for 3GHz/6GHz Automotive Cameras

11010 Series News Release

On May 11, 2026, IRISO ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President&CEO: Hitoshi Suzuki) announced the release of the "11010 series" board to board connectors with a 0.4mm pitch and high-speed transmission capability.

In recent years, while electronic devices, such as those used in cars and industrial machinery, have been becoming smaller and more compact over time, demand for high-speed transmission has been growing even further. In the internal and inter-device connections of ADAS systems, such as automotive cameras, it has been a crucial issue to both save spaces and transmit data at very high speeds. 

To meet such needs, we have developed the "11010 series," a rigid (non-floating) type connector that is very thin and compact, helping reduce the amount of space it takes up in a device, compared to floating connectors of the same pitch, while supporting high-speed transmission of up to 16.0 Gbps*.

Even though the connector is very low in height (2 mm), it still has a relatively long and secure contact area (0.3 mm), which helps ensure reliable electrical connection and good performance.

IRISO continues to address our customers' issues on high-speed data transmission by delivering its diverse product lineup, including floating connector, and continues to support the further development of the automotive sector and a wide range of industrial sectors.

Main Features

Feature 1: Design for reducing radiation

The connector is designed for high-speed and high-frequency applications. It optimizes board layout, strengthens grounding, and provides shielding to suppress EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) and improve EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) performance.

Feature 2:  Data transmission at a maximum of 16Gbps.

This connector features a compact design, impedance control, and low loss, supporting high-speed differential signal transmission of up to 16Gbps*.

Feature 3: Operation in high-temperature environments of 125°C

Because the connector uses advanced materials and has a well‑designed structure, it can operate reliably in very cold and very hot environments, from −40 °C up to +125 °C. The connector maintains stable and reliable electrical contact even in hot conditions, and it can be installed almost anywhere without special limits on where or how it is used.
