On May 18, 2026, IRISO ELECTRONICS CO., LTD.(Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President&CEO: Hitoshi Suzuki) announced the "10157 series" right-angle floating connector, designed for low-profile contact and space-saving connection with a 0.4mm pitch.
In recent years, while electronic devices, such as those used in cars and industrial machinery, have been functioning and performing at a higher level, demand for high-density mounting in limited spaces and miniaturization of the entire device has been growing even further. In the internal and inter-device connections of ADAS systems, such as LiDAR (LiDAR and 3D LiDAR), it has been a crucial issue to both save spaces and achieve high connection reliability.
At the same time, its design to support mating with the existing "10126B series" floating connector for stacking connections saves spaces by reducing the stack height. The "10157 series" supports smooth replacement and reuse of existing designs in connections, such as "right-angle connection" and "stacking connection".
We are now preparing for mass production of the "10157 series."

Feature 1: Compact and space-saving design with 0.4mm pitch right-angle connection
Conventional 0.4mm pitch Board to Board Connectors are primarily used for stacking connections, but this product features a 0.4mm pitch and right-angle connection, significantly reducing the mounting area for board layouts. At the same time, its shape allows for mating with the "10126B series" connectors for stacking, helping increase flexibility in board layouts and reduce the whole size of the devices.
Feature 2: Floating design for automation
Floating design, which ensures movements of X ±0.4mm and Y ±0.3mm, absorbs both positional and mounting misalignment between circuit boards. This feature supports robot assembly using robots, improving assembly efficiency and helping our customers reduce total production costs.
Feature 3: Design for automotive specifications
It can operate reliably in very cold and very hot environments, from −40 °C up to +125 °C. The connector maintains stable and reliable electrical contact even in hot conditions, and it can be installed almost anywhere without special limits on where or how it is used.
This product is particularly well-suited for devices supporting ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) among automotive applications in the mobility market.
