Bit error rate test BERT

BERT/bit error rate test

This is a test in which an actual digital signal is input to a certain transmission system or device and the frequency of errors for a certain period of time is checked. Performance (results) is expressed in powers of 10 by negative integers. For example, 10^-15 means 1000 trillion bits of data with no errors. This means that at a data rate of 10 Gbps, it was error-free for about 28 hours. In addition to various parameter tests, we are also conducting verification by BERT test by building a pseudo system that imitates the actual specifications of the customer, looking at some specific products and applications.
