Beryllium copper

Copper alloy with added beryllium. It has excellent electrical properties, mechanical properties and heat resistance, but tends to be more expensive than other spring materials due to the use of rare metals. In addition, the raw material beryllium alone has been pointed out to be toxic and has been designated as a "specified class 1 chemical substance".
