conductivity

A parameter that indicates the ease with which electricity can flow through a material, and is also called electrical conductivity. As international units, (S/m) and (Ω−1 m−1) are used because the electrical resistance is proportional to the reciprocal of the conductivity and the area of the conductive material, and proportional to the length of the conductive band.
As a practical unit, the ratio (%) to the conductivity of pure copper based on the IACS (international annealed copper standard) is often used.
Silver is the most common metal, followed by pure copper.
