LCP (Liquid Crystal Plastic)

An abbreviation of Liquid Crystal Plastic, it is a liquid crystal polymer. It is a super engineering plastic that is often used for connector housings. It has good flowability and is suitable for thin-walled molding. Since it does not have high toughness, it is often mixed with glass-based fillers for use in connector housings. In addition, it has a low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss tangent compared to conventional substrate materials, and is beginning to be used for both rigid substrates and FPCs as it supports high frequencies.
