Established IRISO Electronics Co., Ltd. in Shimonumabe, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa.
1973

Apr

Developed wrapping pins whereby wire is wrapped around to make a connection on a PCB, and began producing and selling them.
1975

Jan

Developed jumper pins which connect circuits on the parts side of PCBs, and began producing and selling them.
Dec

Started manufacturing and selling pin headers (male connectors) that expand connection patterns by combining the resin part with the pin.
1977

Jan

Developed check pins which check a PCB's behavior on itself, and began producing and selling them.
May

Moved the headquarters office and plant to Takatsu-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa.

Developed connector pins with a tapered tip, and began producing and selling them.

IRS (S) PTE LTD is established in the Republic of Singapore for the purpose of manufacturing and selling various pins and multi-pole connectors.

Established IRS PRECISION Co., Ltd. in Nakahara-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa for producing and selling precision metal machining equipment.

Changed the name from IRS Precision Co., Ltd. to Ibaraki IRISO Electronics Co., Ltd., and transferred the headquarters from Nakahara-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa to Omiya-machi, Naka-gun, Ibaraki (present Ibaraki Plant) at the same time.
