25Gbps Floating structure Board to Board Connector

At CEATEC 2020, we announced that it is compatible with PCIe Gen4 standards for 85Ω systems, and that it supports 16Gbps.
On the other hand, the characteristic impedance of this product is tuned to around 92Ω, which is the intermediate range, in anticipation of compatibility with 100Ω systems. In fact, the target data rate for 100Ω systems is in the region of 25Gbps or higher, similar to high-speed jumper solutions.
Due to the product's function as a Board to Board Connector, compared to FPC/FFC connections, it tends to function as a "part" of various customer designs. Therefore, in order to imitate the actual specifications, we created an evaluation board with multiple pin assignments, assuming the trace length of a standard board, and used it for the "CEI 28G-SR", which was also referred to in the high-speed jumper solution evaluation. I have been verifying. As a result, we have confirmed that it has sufficient performance to propose to customers as a 25Gbps solution.

In addition to parameter measurement, we also perform error-free test verification using the BERT module. As a result, we were able to confirm 25 Gbps compatibility in a state closer to the actual machine.
