Twinax cable

Also called two-core balanced coaxial, it consists of two insulated wires and a shield (outer conductor) covering them for differential transmission. It mainly refers to things that are arranged in parallel without being twisted (twisted), and twisted things are generally called STP to distinguish them. However, twisted cables are sometimes called twinax cables, and to avoid confusion with STP, untwisted cables are sometimes called parallel twinax cables.
