High-Mix Low-Volume assembly demonstration

We are demonstrating how to assemble a box-shaped mock-up using Universal Robot's Collaborative 6-axis articulated robots "UR series".
The Z-Move structure connector 10120 series is mounted on the Internal board, and the Floating structure absorbs mounting misalinment and realizes robot assembly.
In addition, the I/F part is equipped with a Unit-able Connector, and the Z-Move structure eliminates misalignment when inserting the Interface Connector.
It has made it possible to Assembly automation interface parts for small-lot, high-mix products, which had been a problem with Robot assembly until now.
By installing Kowa Techmake's dedicated robot hand, multiple assembly tasks can be completed with a single robot.
In addition, by mounting an electric driver for HIOS robots, the process from board assembly to screw tightening is completely reproduced.

This 2.00mm Floating, Z-Move structure ™ Floating structure Stacking connection Board to Board Connector connector is designed for use in equipment in environments with severe vibration. The Floating structure structure Floating 0.65mm of Floating in X Y direction. The Z direction has a resonance amplitude of 0.02mm and an effective Mating of 0.7mm. It uses a two-point contact that reliably removes foreign matter even in tough environments. This product can withstand temperatures up to 125°C and can be used in high-temperature environments.
This connector uses IRISO 's unique Floating structure technology, "Z-Move structure ™" (registered trademark). The contacts remain fixed while Floating in the Z direction, preventing contact misalignment due to resonance or impact, making it highly vibration-resistant and shock-resistant. IRISO unique analysis system will simulate the fixing method best suited to your equipment.

Unit-able Connector

Unit-able Connector are products based on the concept that they can meet various customer requirements simply by standardizing the unit Socket and customizing the interface. We will realize the automation of High-Mix Low-Volume, which has been a problem with Robot assembly until now.
