High-Mix Low-Volume assembly demonstration

We are demonstrating how to assemble a box-shaped mock-up using Universal Robot's Collaborative 6-axis articulated robots "UR series".
The Z-Move structure connector 10120 series is mounted on the Internal board, and the Floating structure absorbs mounting misalinment and realizes robot assembly.
In addition, the I/F part is equipped with a Unit-able Connector, and the Z-Move structure eliminates misalignment when inserting the Interface Connector.
It has made it possible to Assembly automation interface parts for small-lot, high-mix products, which had been a problem with Robot assembly until now.
By installing Kowa Techmake's dedicated robot hand, multiple assembly tasks can be completed with a single robot.
In addition, by mounting an electric driver for HIOS robots, the process from board assembly to screw tightening is completely reproduced.

2.00mm pitch, Z Floating (Z-Move structure ™) Floating structure type Stacking connection Board to Board Connector connectors for in-equipment connections intended for use in harsh vibration environments. IRISO Employs proprietary Floating structure technology Z-Move structure ™ (trademark registered). This connector has excellent vibration resistance and shock resistance, preventing contact misalignment due to resonance and shock by Floating moving in the Z direction while the contacts remain fixed. IRISO We can simulate the fixing method adapted to your equipment with our original analysis system.

Unit-able Connector

Unit-able Connector are products based on the concept that they can meet various customer requirements simply by standardizing the unit Socket and customizing the interface. We will realize the automation of High-Mix Low-Volume, which has been a problem with Robot assembly until now.
