IRISO supporting the Smart Factory

As the keyword "Smart Factory" suggests, the equipment used in factories is becoming more diverse than ever before, and its communication capabilities are becoming increasingly important.
With this background, the variety of board designs inside devices has led to a demand for greater flexibility in board-to-board connection variations. IRISO offers the largest variety of Floating Connector for Board to Board Connector connections in the industry, and we introduce some of them here.
Furthermore, these connectors not only function "inside" the device, but also demonstrate their advantages when "assembling" each device.

10110/10109 series

A 0.635mm pitch, Floating structure type Right angle connection (ST/RA) Board to Board Connector connector enabling high-speed transmission of digital signals. Floating (Floating structure) structure allows for 0.5mm Floating in the XY axis directions. It has an effective Mating length of 0.5mm in the Z direction. Supports high-speed transmission of 1.0Gbps (representative reference value according to our company's definition). Impedance matching: differential 100Ω. Features two-point contacts to accommodate various Mating heights and ensure reliable removal of foreign objects even in tough environments.
 

10143 series

This connector is ideal for connecting ADAS and ECU applications necessary for realizing autonomous driving.
This Board to Board Connector "hybrid" concept achieves both high-speed transmission of 25Gbps * and Floating structure with unprecedented range Floating (±0.8mm Floating in the XY axis direction). Power terminals that also function as fixing brackets are mounted on both ends of the connector, enabling miniaturization and reduction of the connector's polarity.

10103 series

A 0.5mm pitch, Floating structure type Stacking connection (ST/ST) Board to Board Connector connector enabling high-speed transmission of digital signals. Floating (Floating structure) structure allows for 0.5mm Floating in the XY axis directions, with an effective Mating of 0.5mm in the Z direction. It supports high-speed transmission of 6.0Gbps (representative reference value according to our company's definition). It also features V-by-one HS compliant impedance matching: differential 100Ω. EMC protection with a metal shell prevents noise.
 

10112 series

0.5mm pitch, Floating structure type Board to Board Connector connector that enables high-speed transmission of digital signals. Floating (Floating structure) structure Floating 0.5 mm movement in the XYZ directions. Compatible with V-by-One HS. Supports high-speed transmission. Impedance matching: 100Ω.
 

10122 series

This 11.0mm pitch, Floating structure type Stacking connection (ST/ST) Board to Board Connector connector utilizes IRISO unique Floating structure technology with added high current capability. The Floating (Floating structure) structure Floating of 1.0mm in the X direction and 0.5mm in the Y direction. The effective Mating in the Z direction is 0.5mm. It can handle a large current of 15A (600V, pollution level 2), contributing to improved workability when connecting high currents in multiple locations.
 

10126 series

A 0.40mm pitch, Floating structure type Stacking connection (ST/ST) Board to Board Connector connector enabling high-speed transmission of digital signals. Floating (Floating structure) structure allows for 0.4mm Floating in the XY axis direction, with an effective Mating of 0.3mm in the Z direction. Despite its low profile, space-saving design, it supports high-speed transmission. It supports high-speed transmission of 8.0Gbps (representative reference value according to our company's definition). Impedance matching: differential 100Ω. It absorbs optical axis misalignment when integrating into automotive camera module boards, significantly improving reliability.
 

11600 series

This 0.5mm pitch NON-ZIF RA type FFC connector is compatible with shielded FFCs, enabling high-speed digital signal transmission. Its shielding provides EMC protection. The optimized contact structure supports transmission speeds of over 20Gbps depending on the FFC selected (a representative reference value defined by the company). Impedance matching: differential 100Ω. Auto I-Lock structure prevents disconnection yet makes removal easy. It features a locking mechanism that locks the FFC card as soon as it is inserted. It also contributes to Assembly automation by being compatible with IRISO Robot Friendly connectors.
