As the keyword "Smart Factory" suggests, the equipment used in factories is becoming more diverse than ever before, and its communication capabilities are becoming increasingly important.
With this background, the variety of board designs inside devices has led to a demand for greater flexibility in board-to-board connection variations. IRISO offers the largest variety of Floating Connector for Board to Board Connector connections in the industry, and we introduce some of them here.
Furthermore, these connectors not only function "inside" the device, but also demonstrate their advantages when "assembling" each device.

0.635mm pitch, Floating structure type Right angle connection (ST/RA) Board to Board Connector connector for high-speed transmission of digital signals. Floating (Floating structure) structure with 0.5mm X Y direction to 0.5mm Floating effective Mating length in Z direction. 1.0Gbps (typical reference value based on in-house definition) for high-speed transmission. V-by-one HS compliant impedance matching: differential 100 Ω. EMC measures by metal shell to prevent noise.
 

10112 series

0.5mm pitch, Floating structure type Board to Board Connector connector that enables high-speed transmission of digital signals. Floating (Floating structure) structure Floating 0.5 mm movement in the XYZ directions. Compatible with V-by-One HS. Supports high-speed transmission. Impedance matching: 100Ω.
 

10122 series

This 11.0mm pitch, Floating structure type Stacking connection (ST/ST) Board to Board Connector connector utilizes IRISO unique Floating structure technology with added high current capability. The Floating (Floating structure) structure Floating of 1.0mm in the X direction and 0.5mm in the Y direction. The effective Mating in the Z direction is 0.5mm. It can handle a large current of 15A (600V, pollution level 2), contributing to improved workability when connecting high currents in multiple locations.
 

10126 series

0.40mm pitch, Floating structure type Stacking connection (ST/ST) Board to Board Connector connector for high-speed transmission of digital signals. Floating(The Floating structure structure allows 0.4 mm Floating to X Y direction and 0.3 mm effective Mating length in the Z-direction. low profile Space-saving design with high-speed transmission capability of 8.0Gbps (typical reference value based on in-house definition). Impedance matching: Differential 100 Ω. Absorbs optical axis misalignment when installing into a module board of an in-vehicle camera, greatly improving reliability.
 

11600 series

This 0.5mm pitch NON-ZIF RA type FFC connector is compatible with shielded FFCs, enabling high-speed digital signal transmission. Its shielding provides EMC protection. The optimized contact structure supports transmission speeds of over 20Gbps depending on the FFC selected (a representative reference value defined by the company). Impedance matching: differential 100Ω. Auto I-Lock structure prevents disconnection yet makes removal easy. It features a locking mechanism that locks the FFC card as soon as it is inserted. It also contributes to Assembly automation by being compatible with IRISO Robot Friendly connectors.
