In-vehicle camera module assembly demonstration
Here, ABB's Collaborative Dual-arm robot "YuMi" is used to create an in-vehicle camera module.
We are doing a demonstration of assembling a mockup.
Taking advantage of the Dual-arm, everything from assembly to screw tightening is completed within the hand, and assembly is performed in a form that is closer to human work.
The Board to Board Connector "10126 series" is installed for Mating the boards inside the module, and the Floating structure absorbs mounting misalinment and enables assembly by robots.
By installing an electric screwdriver for robots from HIOS on YuMi, we have completely reproduced the process up to screw tightening.
